How can I come in? There are two ways! You can stop in at your convenience in our Open Paint room. Hours are M/W/F 10-2, Saturday 10-8 and Sunday 10-4. Or you can book a Private Party with us!
How does a Private Party work? We love private parties here at The Makery and can accommodate up to 45 people. Once you've chosen a date and time, contact us and we'll get you on the calendar! We'll then send you a private link for you and your guests to register. The minimum to host an exclusive Private Party will be 12. If you have a smaller group and would still like to come in, please e-mail our Project Manager Katie at email@example.com to see if we can combine you with another smaller group. Pricing will vary based on size but our standard 14x19 size is $50 or $60 if you’d like to add a frame.
How long is a party? Workshops are 2.5 hours long
How long do guests have to register for a Private Party? We keep registration open until 14 days before the party so that gives us enough time to get everyone's supplies ready.
Are we allowed to bring alcohol? Yes! We do allow you to bring in your own food and drinks to a Private Party but ask that you sign a liability waiver before class starts and fill out a banquet form online. Your host will have that information, it is through the state of Washington. Alcohol is not permitted in the Open Paint room.
Can I host a private party in my home? Unfortunately at this time we are only doing in studio workshops. Leave the clean up to us!
Are kids allowed at the Make & Take Workshops? Kids are ONLY allowed at Mommy and Me Workshops and Open Paint Times. We try to keep the environment calm and relaxing, so children are only allowed on specific days.
What is Open Paint? Open Paint means you can come in anytime during our hours and paint a project with us! Designs are limited to what we have in stock on the day you come in, but we have the majority of our designs in stock at all times. Kiddos are welcome during these sessions. We always recommend calling ahead to check wait times. (253) 292-6749
What is your cancellation policy? Because we pre-make each person's design ahead of time, we are unable to offer a refund. If it is an emergency, you are welcome to join another class within 90 days.
What materials are used? We use fresh wood, premium paint and adhesive stencils. No skill is necessary and you will always leave with something wall-worthy!
